An Alberta man through and through, Jared was born in Calgary, raised in Olds, and graduated with a B. MGT degree from the University of Lethbridge.
In 2010, after five years at a major insurance carrier, Jared founded Mountain View Benefits, giving him 15+ years of experience in the Group Benefits industry.
Jared and his active, young family love travelling and all things Disney.
Colin Maxwell, BA

Colin is a fourth generation Calgarian and attended the University of Calgary, receiving a BA in Political Science.
Colin joined the Mountain View Benefits team in 2015 and has over 12 years of experience in the Group Benefits Industry.
Colin loves spending time with his two daughters and wife, travelling, going to the lake, and playing hockey and football.

Born and raised in Kelowna, British Columbia, Mike took Business Administration at the Okanagan University College.
Mike’s love for his home province spurred him on to create the BC division for Mountain View Benefits in 2014, and he now has over 13 years of experience in the benefits industry.
He enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, snowboarding, and being outdoors.
Kevin Trach

Kevin began his career with Mountain View Benefits on April 1st 2020. He has over 30 years of direct group benefits experience.
He was born & raised in Kitimat, British Columbia, and after lots of travel, settled in Armstrong; a vibrant community situated in the north Okanagan.
Kevin attended Northern Michigan University located in Marquette, MI and obtained a BSc. in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Administrative Service.
Family time, annual trips, mountain hikes, ATVing, and watching hockey are his favourite things to do in his spare time.

Jennifer Corrigan Arias is an experienced Employee Benefits Advisor with expertise in solution-based selling, specifically in Flexible Benefits. She is highly reputable for her friendly and service-focused approach to partnerships.
Jennifer is a dedicated self-starter, who focuses on providing the best solutions for her clients to achieve prosperity and peace of mind. She is passionate about learning, health, wellness and finance, and believes in finding balance in life.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys staying active with skiing, travel and spending time with her young family and dog, Remi. She believes in constantly improving in every action and interaction and to always try and be better in future.

Originally an Ontarian, where he completed his post-secondary education in Business Marketing, Simon packed up his car and headed west for Calgary in 2014.
After spending seven years working for two major insurance companies as a Benefits Specialist, Simon took his talents to Mountain View Benefits in 2021. Simon is passionate about helping clients implement and improve their overall employee wellness strategies and is always willing to go the extra mile to find a solution.
When not at the office, Simon enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking in the mountains, and playing golf.

Paul made Mountain View Benefits his home in October 2017, and has been in the benefits industry for over 10 years now.
An avid sports fan, Paul also enjoys flying planes and spending time with his family.

Darcie has over 15 years of experience in this industry, and has been with Mountain View Benefits since October 2014.
She loves spending time with her kids, hosting friends and family, traveling to Hawaii, reading, and going to movies.

Keoma was born and raised in south eastern Saskatchewan, but has been an Albertan for over 30 years.
She worked in the benefits industry for about 17 years, moved to the non-profit sector for 11 years, and has rejoined the world of group benefits, recently joining the team at Mountain View Benefits.
In her non-work hours, Keoma can be found visiting with friends and family, camping with her husband, gardening, flat water kayaking or hiking.
Viney Jassal

Born and raised in India, Viney moved to Canada as a teenager. Living in Calgary most of her life, Viney finished highschool and went to University in Calgary. She completed her bachalor’s degree in nursing, but soon shifted her career to benefits.
Viney likes to read philisophical books, nature travel and ballywood dancing.
Her vision for life is to be good and do good. This allows for a great rapport with clients

Born and raised a small town girl from northern Alberta. Shawna received her finance and accounting diploma at Grande Prairie Regional College.
Before Mountain View Benefits, Shawna was in the finance and insurance industry for 10 years. Then became an entrepreneur with her husband for the next 10.
Shawna married her husband in 2007 and they now have two boys who play a multitude of sports, focusing on hockey and volleyball. In her free time, Shawna enjoys traveling, volleyball, golf, and being outdoors.

Tara has a deep passion for travel. She enjoys immersing myself in different cultures and gaining new experience. She has a love for psychology and you can see that in her yearning for never ending learning and continual growth.

Bonnie Smith

Bonnie is from Regina, Saskatchewan, and has been active in the insurance industry for almost 14 years with Manulife and Mountain View Benefits.
Bonnie helps the team coordinate client renewals each year, analyzing the fair and calculated options for clients, and also supports Mountain View Benefits with negotiations and marketing.
Bonnie is a recreational curler and golfer, and enjoys camping in the beautiful Rockies.

Kim graduated from the Lethbridge College with a diploma in Criminal Justice. She has an 18 year old son and enjoys travelling at any opportunity. When not boarding an airplane she can be found reading a book or collecting scary vintage holidays decorations.
Benny
Assistant Branch Manager
One of the most fetching of our office employees, Benny brings multiple years of experience being a good boy. He has really captured the essence of business-casual and is im-paw-sible not to adore.
When he’s not hounding us at the office, he spends most of his free-time being adorable, going for walks and enjoying treats.
Diego
Head of Security
All the way from Mexico, Diego has decided to expand his career here in Canada as Head of Security. Working alongside Benny, Diego ensures everyone who visits MVB is assisted right at the door and provides the warmest welcomes with bringing you squeaky plush gifts. Also known as part cat, Diego has a daily routine of jumping on each employee's desks ensuring no food has been left behind for contamination as part of his team's safety protocols.
